Baru Burok is in the state capital of Kuala Terengganu, its central location makes the beach a convenient destination for the city folks to unwind. A golden sandy beach and breezy casuarinas trees are hallmarks of the beach. Although a city beaches, it is never crowded, making a visit there a restful and leisurely affair.

Batu Burok is also equip with basic exercise material, jogging site and children playground.  On Friday, Batu Burok have their own event provided by Tourism Terengganu and the night market is held from 4.30 pm to 9.00 pm. Apart from being the venue for the annual Beach Festival, Pantai Batu Burok is also a popular place for strolling and swimming.

How to get there :

Batu Burok and the surrounding beaches are easily reached from Kuala Terengganu by bus (Chendering, Marang) and taxi , beca or even on foot for the more intrepid visitor.
