As the sun begins to set, The Mines Wonderland comes alive with thousands of coloured lights to welcome visitors. Right at the park entrance, water splashes amid bronze horses in the huge, impressive Unity Fountain. Behind the fountain lie the dragon sculptures, lit up and looking majestic in the night.
Have you ever seen the White Tiger? It is also rare and there are only about 50 of them in the whole world. Just imagine, in The Mines Wonderland, you can come face to face with three White Tigers! Altogether, there are 13 tigers in in the Animal Kingdom, including the rich brown Malayan and Bengal tigers. Visitors can get to see these cool tigers by taking a ride in the cute Unity Train from Unity Station. If you are interested in tigers, drop by at Secrets of the Tiger, a gallery with lots of interesting tiger facts and photographs.
Also in the Animal Kingdom are white and blue peacocks, silver and golden pheasants a cuddly Sun Bear - the smallest in the bear family, gibbons, deer, cockatoos and other interesting animals. Perhaps you can teach the Brazilian parrots to say your name.
Another amazing sight that will take your breath away is the spectacular Musical Fountain in the Amphitheatre, said to be the best in South East Asia. As the music starts, plumes of water shoot up and dance in the air, while multi-coloured lights help to create a water fantasy. You'll want to see it again, and luckily, there are two Musical Fountain shows in the evening. Then there is the entertainment on stage. It can be acrobats, a magic show or a puppet show from China. The many water and land rides are bound to thrill the young and the young at heart. In the water taxi, you can sit back and enjoy the cool evening breeze and the colourful lights, as the boat cruises round the 150-acre lake that used to be the largest open cast tin mine in the world.
At the lake side, the giant swan sculptures, all lit up with thousands of coloured lights, look so pretty. On the far side of the lake are the lights of the Palace of the Golden Horses deluxe hotel. From the lake to the lovely garden, and here visitors can enjoy the spinning Garden Boat Ride that glides along canal. Nearby is the pony ride, which is wonderful experience for young children.
In Kamee Wonderland are more great rides such as the thrilling Balloon Race, where you are lifted off the ground as the balloon rises and rotates. Next, let the Ferris Wheel, one of the highest, take you to the top of the world! Then it's off for more fun in the bumper cars, while smaller children can zip around in the battery cars.
Don't forget to whoosh down on the Roller Coaster, gentle enough for small children, and ride the Vintage Cars for a feel of how tiny cars used to be a long time ago. With all that playing around, it's getting a bit warm. So what better way to cool down than to experience a cold winter at minus 10 degrees in the Snow House?
Here, ice carvers have carved realistic looking dragon, a tiger, the Great Wall of China and other shapes from ice blocks. For a last look at the park before it closes for the night, hop on the Road Tram that takes
you round the park to see the various attractions again.
