The little town of Pedas in Negeri Sembilan has long been famous for its hot springs. For more than 60 years, people have been going there to enjoy the hot spring water, which contains minerals, and is believed to have healing and therapeutic qualities.
Now, there is even more reason to visit Pedas as there is also the Wet World Pedas Hot Springs Waterpark for the whole family to enjoy. Among the attractions at Wet World Pedas Hot Springs Waterpark are the two open-air common pools filled with hot water from the spring. The spring water from the pools is at a temperature of 35 to 46 degrees Centigrade, and once you get used to the hot water, you'll find it very relaxing. For those who prefer privacy, private bathtubs are available.
There is also a reflexology footbath, where you walk on a reflexology pebble trail in the water. The cooled spring water is circulated throughout the waterpark, which is set in scenic hilly surroundings and offers hour of fun for families. If you don't know which water ride to try first, why not begin with the Lazy River that winds around the theme park? Just lie back in your colourful floatable, relax as you float around the park, and figure out which ride attracts you.
The small kids obviously love to be on the Lazy River, imagining themselves in a boat, as their parents push them along.
Kembar, the twin slides, offers a thrilling ride down an open slide before splashing into the pool. The wave pool is another fun place, where you can feel the force of the churning waves. Or simply play around in the wading pool with your friends, or conduct your own water team games.
